LN is critical to bitcoin adoption and use cases. 100% agree that layering is the best solution in order to preserve integrity of bitcoin core base layer. However, is there concern that LN may become too all-eggs in one basket? Would it be better if there was another commensurate/alternative LN-like solution available? From a redundancy and risk-management perspective, I hope over time we do see this.
