This article is outside of its voting period but it's a must read imo. Too many financially privileged people like the Buffets and Lagardes of this world talk negatively about Bitcoin, with little empathy the communities in the world who don't have credible currencies to store their value in over the long term. Their neglect of concern about these communities will be to the benefit of Bitcoin and other decentralised protocols.

While those comfortable in the dollar bubble deride Bitcoin, the stories of three emerging market users demonstrate why it is so important.

A lot of the people look at bitcoin as just a store of value but it's not just that, it's the only hope people like me and our families have in a dictatorship country like my country Iran that is stealing from people by devaluating the currency and inflation ( if you work 1 year 7 days a week 15 hour a day you can only make 734$ ) they shut down the internet to Suppression the peaceful protests and kill the innocent people that were tired of inflation and frustrated because they don't have money to buy even food for their loved ones ( just over 3000+ people were killed in 15 November 2019 and almost 1000+ is missing ) nobody hear our voice in the world because they don't care about us and they judge us by our government but we have faith we are fighting we are believing in the brighter future for us and our loved ones .
