Will they iron out these issues over the coming weeks/months as some users are less than impressed with it so far. It is only the first day after launch so I think calling it a flop is a bit unfair.

People are crying its a flop because the swaps gives you less than v2. For sure, theres almost no liquidity yet. And then people are crying the gas fees are the same. For sure, it was expected that uniswap wouldnt have optimism as a layer 2 solution at launch... this was all known.
