Considering the global black market economy is estimated to be $1.8 trillion, the future potential for privacy coins is enormous.

My concern is that governments will make it difficult to exchange them but there will always be a way around it.

There is always 2 sides to every coin. Privacy is a basic human right. I hope anti privacy advocates dont get their way. Depressing world to live in.

It is significant and Monero looks like it might be the leading privacy coin going forward. Also one that has consistently been recommended by the likes of Jeff Berwick and co.

Privacy coins has a bright future in crypto and financial world. Whole crypto industry is about 180 billion dollars, so compared to global black market, it does have a lot of scope to grow but I think there are much better privacy coins than monero in the market now.

This was always a disadvantage cryptocurrencies would have. The push for anonymity has led to the creation of "super-stealth" cryptos which are presumably untraceable. Decentralisation may just be the tech advancement these extremist groups needed in order to smoothen Thier transactions.

This is truly the downside of privacy coin, coin meant keep safe anonymous to our presumed attackers (government and companies from hijacking our data), is now used by terrorist to protected. My fears terroism will be heavily fund

Privacy must have drawbacks associated with it or it wouldn't be valuable. You can not enjoy privacy all that you want but it's a dire concern for many people. People deserve privacy and we cannot justify usurping their right to privacy with calls for criminals to be stopped via revoking privacy en masse. The exception does not prove the rule.

True. Our privacy is eroding by the day with most people accepting it as a way of life. However, I do think there are enough people who value privacy for it to be challenged before it's too late.
