If wealthy people in the Tories’ southern heartlands had died in their thousands, it would have been a very different story.
If wealthy people in the Tories’ southern heartlands had died in their thousands, it would have been a very different story.
This is what has happened. It is so terrible. For me, looking at this cruel government, looking at Starmer's flaccid opposition, I feel impatient for progressive change, for social justice. I have lost faith that Labour can be revitalised to represent and act upon the progressive change we all need. How long to wait? Until our society fragments in cracks of increasing magnitude? Until climate change cooks and drowns us? For me at least, I hope to see a new, progressive party, fit for purpose for this dread & challenging age. Waiting for Labour may be a wait too long, time may be running out
