This is basically a reaffirmation for British postcolonial ideology. Whatever the efforts of rebranding and repackaging it, one should not fall into these traps. Thinking that far-right leaders such as Johnson care for 'democracy' is naive, simply because their acts have shown that this has never been their priority.
