Feels like shaming people for their bodies isn't the way to justice, though the cause is a good one. Like... You know how Angry Internet Men go "Can't criticize a woman's body, but they get to laugh at a small dick all they want!" Do we REALLY want to prove them right?

Kim Seok-hwan’s comment about “an even playing field” seems tactless — I wonder if the aspiring law student knows how privileged he must be to raised in an environment where he believes men and women are on level footing. Also, It’s much easier to call something “even” if you’ve always been on the side with the advantage. I hope he does get into law school and realizes the long history of societal oppression of women and the need to fix system sexism. “He [Kim Seok-hwan, 28] said his generation was raised in an environment where his female peers were student leaders and heads of groups...These are people we’ve been competing with on an even playing field,” he said. “So when the patriarchal order of the past is used to attack our generation, that feels unreasonable.”

in the article it states the country is slowly being divided by such issues by doesnt really go on to talk more about that in detail other than the obvious. so instead of the country being divided by gender issues the country is being divided by people with and without common sense? hate to hate but all is fair in times like these

Sadly this is probably an especially sore topic for them since asian men are already made fun of for apparently having small penises. We never talk about it since men feelings aren't as important in media as womens but I'd imagine this just riles up alot of hate.

To think mankind has existed for thousands of years, yet can not coexist and compromise peacefully. The males are upset over the gesture, yet I am not hearing any comments or advice to help with how women are treated in the workforce there. This is sad to witness.
