There's no moral obligation to reveal your vaccination status to others. It can be a wonderful thing to do, under certain circumstances. But revealing a vaccination can invite a barrage of questions about who was and wasn't eligible, and why. The judgment can be brutal.

Some additional circumstances in my family led me to go ahead and get vaccinated this week, after my previous hesitation. I've had a few DMs from people who claim I jumped the line. I did not, would not, and held off for a while. Please be kind - if not to me, to others.

I got my first shot. Only in this embarrassment of a country would this be a thing of selfishness and jealousy. You are doing it for others and the greater good more than yourself and too many people have the "disease of me" to see that.

Personally i am agree with that. There are so many reason here. My friend's father, grandfather and grandmother take theirs doses and they posted on social media as well. In india people are go live on social media and inform about they took first dose. I saw several people do the same. Whenever i will take my first dose i will also do same as my neighbors and friends family.

What strikes me about both is that, even during a pandemic—maybe especially during a pandemic—the threat of public scrutiny is overwhelming. Society can be so cruel that some people are more afraid of judgment than they are afraid of germs.
