With Extinction Rebellion being in the UK news for blocking Newspapers from being delivered to the shops I thought it would be a good time to share some information on Newspaper ownership in the UK.
Extinction Rebellion are obviously concerned about the environment and are pushing boundaries to be heard, but to me there is another huge issue with who owns, and therefore manages the news cycles in the UK. Extinction Rebellion appear concerned this concentrated ownership is resulting in bias against climate activists.
One of the main reasons I was drawn to Relevant is because I feel it will be a great tool in tackling biased and inaccurate News cycles; which some could argue occur in the UK because of this ownership structure.
