Hurricane Laura has weakened to a Category 2. Earlier this morning, it made landfall near Cameron, Louisiana, as a Category 4 storm. The National Hurricane Center warns that "unsurvivable" storm surges of up to 15 feet could overwhelm parts of the Gulf Coast.
