It seems that oat and water make up more than 90 percent of it. Theres around 1.7ml of rapeseed oil per 100 ml - Still they could really do without it.

Yeah I read the ingredients as 10% of the oat base (oat + water) is oats meaning 90% of the "base" is water...not that 10% of the beverage is oats and water. they don't list the amount of each ingredient on their website but if the drink is only 1.5% fat it can't have that much oil [https://www.oatly.com/int/products/oat-drink](https://www.oatly.com/int/products/oat-drink)

Urg that’s why it’s so “milky” I read that oatly also sells a low fat version with no oil...it’s best to make your own but I still feel like most oat milk is a better option than other dairy/milk alternatives but I guess everything is problematic in some way

Then there’s always this: [https://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/shortcuts/2015/oct/21/almond-milk-quite-good-for-you-very-bad-for-the-planet](https://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/shortcuts/2015/oct/21/almond-milk-quite-good-for-you-very-bad-for-the-planet) So maybe oat milk had advantages re: environmental impact.

This has to be one of the food industry's greatest marketing successes in recent history.
