Pretty refreshing to hear a civil and thoughtful discussion on these topics as opposed to seeing idiotic hot takes on twitter lol. I’ve always wondered how libertarians viewed The New Deal. Libertarianism actually makes a lot more sense as a context-driven / reactionary ideology than an absolutist one. Good point about the difficulty of disrupting government and “move the capital” idea. I think that is in part why someone like Thiel would support Trump - if he’ll destroy governmental institutions there is room to build new and better ones. Creative distraction. Seems like a painful process but maybe more hopeful than ‘business as usual’? Def still is kind of a dick to women tho 😬
