Multiple news outlets have reported this but I am skeptical about whether or not it was the Russians. I don't doubt that gaming is used as a way to spread propagandha i.e. all the military themed games that exist. It makes sense to use this as a medium for subliminal messaging and mind control but I do wonder how many Pokemon Go players paused their game to go vote or to go out and instigate conflict with anti-police violence protesters. All the Pokemon Go players I have met take their gaming very seriously and are pretty anti-establishment or apathetic to begin with. Maybe I am just generalizing.
