Flannel Collective has curated the ‘From Thought to Form’ exhibition, inspired by the 1969 groundbreaking exhibition When Attitudes Become Form, which revolutionised the art world by challenging traditional notions of art and its presentation. The 39 participating artists all push boundaries and experiment with new concepts and techniques, challenging the status quo. Flannel Collective aims to bridge the gap between traditional historical exhibitions and web3 art, address the liberal use of the term ‘curator’ within the web3 art community and create a safe space for artists to take risks and try something new. The exhibition seeks to resurrect the conversation about art and its curation, posing pertinent questions within the context of the web3 era.
