"Do you know what F. asked students at the art academy who wanted to join his video class? “I hope you don’t mind being unemployed later”. Do these people who say this actually know how much they scare those who come from working-class backgrounds? It’s a pity that such disillusioned artists in the form of professors are still appointed on the basis of their institutional establishment and the promise of an art market, and not according to their knowledge of self-organization. Something which helps to shift the focus from the perception of art institutions and the amount of disposable jobs more to a community of self-organized spaces, which reflect those dependencies and help to sustain the cultural workers of today."
