"Huw Lemmey I started off making art and then realised I was putting together artworks purely so I could write press releases for them. I enjoyed writing the press releases far more than I enjoyed making the art, so I cut out the middleman and started writing. I’ve written a few novels now, which are my way of thinking around the politics of a given situation, the things that I find frustrating and exciting about the world at that moment and the things I think aren’t being said. My approach is usually to take a way that other people describe the world I think is inaccurate and to write that world as if their description were real, a fanfiction based on other people’s fantasies."
