Following the impulse to know more about my write up and verify my claim, I tried hitting the downvote button on the post I upvoted 3days ago and I got the message 'you cannot change your vote after 15m'. I never knew there has been an update giving a window opportunity of 15m to set things right, I tried that during my early days on Relevant but the story was different. This has taught me to start keeping up with improvements being made beyond the scope of what's being discussed or announced here in support community.
Here below is what I wrote prior to that:
"Have you ever been in that situation when you accidentally vote a post/comment; giving an upvote for what you would've ordinarily downvoted, downvoting what you meant to upvote or even giving either to a post/comment you're just reading through without the intention of interacting with/reacting to it at all.
The latest of such I had was some three days ago while I was refreshing the feed to reflect a post I had just made so I could throw my weight behind it with my vote, it so happened that someone else made a post some seconds after me and her post was at the top. The story had always been that my post will be at the top whenever I refreshed like that, so I hit the upvote button in a little bit of a hurry without even getting to know what it's about or having intention of doing so, thinking it was my post.
As much as I know, it can't be undone once done, and I can reason in line as to why that is so or should be.
As a person this has taught me to be extra careful and concentrate more whenever I am active on Relevant, especially on mobile (that's because the case of accidental voting has once happened to me as a result of my phone slipping off my hand), but then I will love to know of your different experiences.
How consequential has such occurrences been to you if it has ever happened?
Perhaps there is something I am missing too, a way to undo probably that I don't know of."
