What do people think about the edit feature we currently have? I like that it allows people to rectify little mistakes like spelling errors. I don't like that people can edit a post when others have already replied to it, as it can makes replies seem nonsensical or even portray the replies in a negative context. Do we think the edit system needs changing at some point? For example no edits after a reply, or showing that a post has been edited?

Agree with you. Give 5-10min for correction after that either close the edit option or make "edited comment".

I think both features would be beneficial. A time lock for editing (on the order of minutes) to allow for correction of grammatical errors and marking a post as edited...perhaps allowing a user submitted blurb on the reason for editing. Ex Edited: For grammar.

[@Druss](/user/profile/Druss) thanks for bringing this up. I’ll definitely think about this more. The simplest solution would be to lock editing after a section time period. Viewing history etc might be a little too complex to implement for the moment.

Thanks Slava. I think that's a great idea locking the edit button after a time period and I agree it wouldn't be time well spent at the moment building out anything more detailed than that.
