The earlier you vote on content that goes on to be popular, the more you will earn. 5) Referrals, spam and low quality comments will always be downvoted. 6) Your Reputation score is unique to each community, so as you change communties you will see your score change. You increase your reputation by contributing thoughtful *quality* comments to the discussion of the related article or essay.
