My wife is truly a gig worker. She does photos for house listings and does crafts for craft shows. She makes decent money doing it, or at least did. Craft shows have died for now and slowly coming back. She tried Etsy (it’s full of Chinese garbage) and the housing market is so hot realtors aren’t asking for professional photos. She had a couple thousand left on her unemployment claim and our state shut it down. She could absolutely go work at Aldi, or somewhere else, this is her business and it was successful pre pandemic and will be successful again. I hate living in a republican state. Our state basically said, give up your business for a paycheck. Jim Justice is a turd.
