The pandemic has increased the gap between the Haves and Have-Nots. As prices continue to skyrocket, those most badly hurt by the pandemic have no other option but to live in the streets. There is a lot of money being poured into ways to reduce homelessness by building affordable housing, but the situation seems more dire and the solutions seem much more complex than just throwing money at it. This issue affects the whole world, but in California we are seeing it even greater as there is great abundance in that state.
