In US it definitely feels that there more people heading towards poverty - loosing their jobs or houses etc. I’m sure it’s not as bad as many other place but the trend is worrying and is the cause of a lot of tension.

1 - Multi-million dollar luxury townhomes being sold only a few blocks from poorly maintained public housing projects.
2 - The lower the wage, the more likely the wage earner has to travel on public transportation to physically be present to earn the wage, increasing the risk of Covid-19 exposure.
