After the strong rebound in September quarter’s GDP recovered a significant portion of the June quarter’s historic decline, there are a number of signals showing that the December quarter is on shaky ground.

Give it 3 to 9 weeks. The US is about to hit the worst of the pandemic. This is already obvious in the leading indicators, but soon the average citizen will be well aware of the next (larger) wave.
