This is just the beginning. Even if we stopped emitting C02 and methane today, we won’t stay under 2 degrees warming. The cascading positive feedbacks will rapidly create hell on earth. Factor in ocean acidification, growing oceanic dead zones, ground water depletion and its effects on agriculture, increasing population, oxygen depletion in lakes and rivers, methane percolating in the Arctic, and random unpredictable catastrophes (pandemics, tsunamis, earthquakes, etc.) and things will probably get interesting quite quickly.
