I’d like to read more into the specifics of this legislation, but it seems that the goal is to hold the actual tech companies liable for these “pile-ons,” not individual users (as stated, it’s ridiculous to assume that individuals could be prosecuted case-by-case for this shit). I, for one, am all for Twitter being fined when mass cyber bullying leads to something like self harm (or worse). If anything, it’s a way to maybe extract some of that long lost tax money. Anyway…
