Whenever democrats have a majority there is always suddenly a conservative faction that stops anything major from passing. This has happened under Obama and Biden. Republicans never have this issue. You never see Mitch McConnell complaining how mit Romney is holding back his agenda to cut taxes and deregulate the economy, they just do it. I firmly believe if Biden had 5 more dems in the Senate, then the Manchin-crowd would find 5 more people. Biden could announce an investigation into Manchin’s daughters predatory price hiking of medication, but he is too concerned with comprising with him only to get nothing in return. Biden has overused the carrot, start using the stick now! He is unwilling to do whip votes to have a chance at winning the midterms.
