> An interesting article discusses the limitations of traditional NFTs and argues that ordinal-based NFTs could provide a more scalable and flexible solution for creating and managing unique digital assets and also provides a detailed analysis of the benefits of using ordinals for NFTs . it also explores the technical aspects of ordinal-based NFTs, such as the challenges of managing large amounts of data on the blockchain.

I really enjoyed that article. Thanks! Nice bit of history in there too regarding Coloured coins and Mastercoin. The Oridinals ecosystem has exploded, but as the article suggests will it last? I like the idea of ordinals but know a lot of Bitcoiners don't because they see Bitcoin as only a financial layer. I think it will help develop the fee market as emissions drop, but is there a risk that we start seeing regular transactions priced out by Ordinals in future?!

As everything goes in the cycle in space. the hype cycle for ordinal NFTs is likely to be influenced by a range of factors, some of which are predictable and others that are more difficult to anticipate.
