Anistasiya from Nation3 which is attempting to form cloud nations discusses a potential universal basic income for its citizens, and the issues with this such as Sybil resistance and funding. Aside from UBI I find this project fascinating as they attempt to build out these cloud nations. Balaji Srinivasan is also a pioneer of this movement and I highly recommend checking out his work on this.
