Though "this is the largest deployment of personal protective equipment in US history,” it won’t do any good unless people actually wear the masks in public. This is a good move that should have happened a while ago, but I’m still skeptical that we’ll see US COVID rates shift in a meaningful way. Fingers crossed though 🤞🏼
