this is so sad. they’re just trying to survive. kids need places to go if they’re in danger. my dad was so violently beaten by his stepdad that his high school basketball coach adopted him after seeing his bruised up body. My understanding is that "vulnerable" is brit-code for some whom the government as stripped of human rights. That certainly is a vulnerable position, to be fair. i worry about kids stuck in scary violent homes
