I remember when this first started and people were banging their pots and pans. I got chastised for saying it was an empty gesture. I feel so bad for all of these healthcare workers who are just overworked and exhausted, have seen co-workers die after contracting a disease, have seen families ruined. It's not easy and we really take what they do for granted.

I've been very disappointed in the people who are afraid to get the vaccine because they're scared of the potential side effects the day after. Let me tell you that even if you had a 99 percent chance of not ending up on a ventilator when you got covid it still wouldn't be worth it. Being on life support is a much more jarring experience than words can really describe, and it's very frustrating to see people so brazenly ignore advice from the doctors and medical professionals who are only looking out for their best interests.
