Employees are being offered thousands of dollars to leave and never work for Amazon again, weeks before a historic union election.
Amazon has an annual program where it buyouts employees to reduce liability, benefits payouts, and wages. The program just happened to start just before the Bessemer, AL union vote and after months of aggressive union-busting tactics by the company.
