The current situation can continue for decades more. The Palestinians aren’t the only people in the world stuck in a geopolitical limbo, pending politically unlikely political resolution. Northern Cyprus, Cubans are same in a political limbo with no end in sight. Crimea, North Korea and Kashmir are additional examples.
