The trouble with that is: You may win elections, but then you can't pass anything, and then the blowback in the next election turns both houses RED again. Because too, too, TOO many Americans are still wayyyyyy far "right" brainwashed. And THEY vote, too. The difference between you and Nancy, Chuck, and Joe is they know this.

I think a big reason why the Dem party is so conservative is because the Republican party is so ridiculously far to the right. The Dems have to move further and further to the right to appease the Republican party and their base. They feel if they don't they will lose the next election. I think if the Republican party was ever abolished, the Dem party would move much further to the left. Maybe I'm wrong, I don't know. Also, the two party system is just dumb and makes politics like a team sport. Pick one of the two side and root for them. Everything's black and white. When in reality, both parties are too conservative.
