It felt factual and not hiding it's aim. It wants you to believe and will draw you in quickly with effects and a punchy narrator. Discusses a history timeline with parts of history that even non US have heard about. Not to long either. Nice!

Warning - unpopular opinion - It is incredible how selective this video is. We can be disgusted by the events in the capital while knowing that the American democracy is one of the greatest gifts the American people has provided the world. The fact that the Senate resumed its session only a few hours after these conspiracy theory driven domestic terrorists tried to overturn a legal victory is a testament to the fact that the United States is greater than the sum of its parts. It is not about who is the President, or who was elected as a Senator or as a representative, it is about the rule of law and the U.S. Constitution that is The fondamental document on which this country was built. I hope that the Senators who supported the ridiculous attempt of not to confirming the electoral votes would be “punished” in the polls on their next campaign (I believe they will). But the fact that even the greatest supporters of Trump (e.g., Mike Pence) voted to confirm these results shows that there is something more important than the personal victory of a specific person. The last administration with all of its problems is, once again, a testament to how resilient the U.S. democracy is. Please let’s not forget that. It is not a perfect regime, and definitely there were horrible acts and unforgivable sins committed by the founders of the U.S. but I believe it is more important to aspire for a better future than to dwell over the sins of the past.
