Netanyahu was caught in a corruption scandal in three different cases. He was accused of carrying out a series of corruption in order to perpetuate his leadership as PM. Corruption cases have been revealed and investigated since 2018. However, a new trial was held on May 24 in the Jerusalem Court. In addition to corruption cases, Netanyahu was also urged to go down because he considered failing to handle the corona virus pandemic (covid-19) which surged in Israel.
