This is another great example of the complexities of info sharing on engagement-based platforms. The reason this video went viral in the first place was because platforms like Facebook and Twitter don’t leave space for context, instead they promote information based on its popularity. People watched, liked and shared it because it has information they wanted to hear, while more media-savvy users able to discern the difference between evidence and opinions had no ability to limit the spread of this misinformation. Twitter and Facebook taking down this video and banning users who share it is a bandaid solution to a problem __they created in the first place__

This where relevant comes in, I really felt the line from you "...instead they promote information base on popularity". I can see vividly why relevant success is achieved, instead of suppressing the voice, let people be the judge. We don't know how long this will be.

I don't agree with this. This is censorship. Everyone has a right to their opinion and to share it. It's a dangerous world if we stop letting people speak their mind. It's up to people to do their own research . You are not smart if you take a drug without first researching it. And you and the media don't have all the information. I'm not saying Don is right 100% but he has a right to share his thoughts on his social media. He knows that this drug has been researched lots in the past and is safer than lots of drugs. There are also plenty of cases of this drug working with many doctors not just one. Meanwhile social media like this keeps dangerous trends (like tide pods), promotes hate, actively allows child porn and violence to be shown and spreads their own false information .

This account has not been permanently suspended. Per the screenshot, the Tweet requires deletion because it violates Twitter rules (sharing misinformation on COVID-19), and the account will have limited functionality for 12 hours i guess. However this Gives a Good lesson to Trump Jr to not share any information without studying it.
