This is absolutely sickening. Imagine justifying violently raiding an innocent person's home in the middle of the night as a means for clearing a neighborhood for rich people to take over. Not just an innocent person, but someone who was serving their community as an EMT. She died a violent and horrible death at the hands of those assigned to "protect and serve," all because some rich people in power want to bully the lower classes. I never felt like the officers themselves were truly at fault for this utter fiasco. They are mere scapegoats, carrying out orders. The real culprits are the ones in power who signed off on this program to terrorize these people out of their neighborhood for the sake of making profit via gentrification. *They* are the ones who belong in jail
