It s very exciting living in times like present. With high probability of success in next, lets say, 50 years will happen next things: 1) cure cancer and other hard disease 2) landing to the Mars and probable base a colony there 3) HUGE boosting in AI tech and change the way people living all the times before 4) VR tech will be almost same as real life 5) new type of travel, which will be xx time faster than airplane 6) biotechnology will boost

It gives me hope to see how much emphasis is being put into renewable energy, recycling, and conservation by the youth. It shows me that our future leaders will do more for the environment.

It has been my assumption for almost 20 years now that 1950 to 2150 will be the most important choke point in human history since about 70,000 years ago. We live in an era where existential risks and humanity's negotiation of them will determine whether we emerge from childhood and adolescence as a developmentally-conscious, sustainable, and connected space-faring civilization or go the way of the dinosaurs.
It has been my assumption for almost 20 years now that 1950 to 2150 will be the most important choke point in human history since about 70,000 years ago.
