More than 8 in 10 Americans (83%) say the future of the nation is a significant source of stress, according to the American Psychological Association’s most recent survey report, Stress in America 2020: Stress in The Time of COVID-19, Volume Two. The previous high was 69%, reported in 2018 as part of APA’s annual Stress in America survey.
