I think it works in either! The "Relevant Feed" is meant to offer context to the intersection of culture and technology and this article does a good job speaking to social media induced anxiety.

thats the part i found most interesting although i would agree it in a wider scope is actually culture reporting. anyhow a little tricky to aim at the right community on here, hopefully something that falls in place over time ^^

surprised that this doesn't reference Haunted Media: Electronic Presence from Telegraphy to Television by Jeffrey Sconce. He pinpoints the occult quality of technology as its ability to enable disembodied tele-presence (ie. tele-vision, tele-phone, anything that enables action at a distance). He even points out the long-standing association between women and witchcraft.
