Thanks for explaining. It's interesting to me the different ways of thinking in the world. I can certainly see how it would make one feel more connected to the universe we live in, especially as so many of us are deprived from the true beauty of the night sky by light pollution. I imagine our ancestors would have spent many hours staring up at the stars in wonder and awe.

It’s not “actual” science, and a belief system/community for some. For me personally it’s just an area of study that’s more similar to mysticism, or occult practices.
