It’s like there are three layers to left and right today: - materialism old: justice for the poor - identity politics: insiders vs outsiders (this points left e.g. trump brexit afd) - materialism new: libertarianism ruins our future, universal basic income, no shit jobs, right to freedom of consumption

The "Left Fascism" described here is identical to liberalism: the idea that exploitation is the handmaiden of progress. Nothing has changed - just fewer people believe in it. Let's have a little imagination beyond it.
