# Relevant DAO
I know that this is long overdue, but we are now finally in the process of setting up the Relevant DAO.
We are currently testing the DAO voting mechanisms and you can help us do this.
There will be 2 different ways to vote on and submit proposals:
## 1. Off-chain proposals via Snapshot.
These proposals are non-binding but voting doesn't cost any gas. These will be used for executing off-chain actions, like adding new communities or admins. You can go ahead and try out voting for the first test proposal via the link above.
## 2. On-chain proposals via Tally.
Tally proposals and voting happen on-chain, cost gas and are binding. These proposals will be used to upgrade the Relevant smart contracts or manage funds held by the DAO Treasury. (the Tally UI is a little funky - the proposal will transfer 10 REL from the Treasury to the Relevant Dev account)
*Note: On Tally, you will have to delegate votes to self before you can vote (press on Delegate)
**In order to be able to vote for this proposal you will need to have sREL (staked REL) in your wallet.**
