Inspired by Dr J here are some of my thoughts on where Relevant can develop next. Some of these have been discussed before & some haven’t. 1. Agree with Dr J with regards to increasing trading pairs on Uniswap and incentivising these makes sense. A big CEX could help with liquidity, but it might be a better option to spend funds on L2/other L1 migration and community building within these. 2. Launch new communities. With this we need to develop a mechanism of how to determine whether to turn token rewards on/off for these to avoid unproductive token farming; also true for existing communities. Very difficult as metrics such as users/posts/staking can easily be gamed. Could REP play a part here with existing high REP members staking some of their REP to enable this? Would new community admins have to bond some REL first? Lot’s more thought needs to be put into this. Rewards on/off decisions to go via DAO proposals either way for now. 3. Reconfigure profiles pages. Have somewhere for users to store articles of interest to them, spaces for additional information, personalisation and NFT integration would be useful too; especially with regards to PFPs. 4. Messaging system. Could be an integration of an external system rather than build out own. We could allow users to set a level of REP needed to communicate with them to avoid spamming. 5. Hierarchical forums for the communities aside from the feeds to facilitate community discussion. Options such as Discord with Collabland could be used easily with REL token, but another option would be an in-house build where REP score determines levels of access. This could be very useful for any DAO out there too. 6. “Community-as-a-service” for research purposes such as academia, journalism, DAOs or hot-topics. 7. Community building and marketing. Ground up approaches are preferable still until we hit a critical mass of regular admins/high REP users across feeds. I agree if we could get some key members on respected podcasts that would be incredible. Onboarding influencers could also attract users but care over their ethos is needed. Gitcoin grants and similar could also be useful ways. 8. Develop on-boarding stream. Something similar to coinbase EARN where users have a walkthrough before they can bet etc. 9. Education events for community members on topics such as blockchain, marketing, community building. These could be either remote/F2F meetups/hybrids. These will also help us build out our culture. 10. Develop selection and onboarding system for new admins with minimum criteria etc. 11. Search Function
