Can someone tell me the difference between "unclaimed coins", airdrop coins and locked-token coins?

Unclaimed coins are the coins which you can withdraw to your Ether wallet. Locked coins are the coins which are locked for betting in the post.

Unclaimed coins are coins you have made that you can "claim" and withdraw. Airdrop coins are coins that you received when you signed up and did things that gave you coins like confirm your email. Airdrop coins cannot be withdrawn, but help you bet on articles and start making relevant. Locked-token coins are coins that are locked in an article that you have bet on. And will be unlocked when the article pays out after 3 day since article is posted.

Yes, by upvoting but you can also enable ‘betting mode’ from your wallet which will let you choose the amount of tokens you bet on each post.

No. there is no chance to loose your coins. depend on betting, your earning will vary. If you bet in good post which finished in ranked of relevant post and your betting amount also high, chance of earning would be more. Though, earning of REL has many factors. Keep upvote in good post which you feel people will like too.
