A nuclear physicist, a top-secret government research facility, and a forgotten experiment inspired the invention of the world's first video game. On a fall day in mid-October 1958, a nuclear physicist, Dr. William “Willy” Higinbotham, prepared something special for the visitors of Brookhaven National Laboratory’s annual public exhibition.
