A video that introduced me to Social Reproduction Theory (SRT) and made me look for more. In its base SRT tries to primarly understand how categories of oppression (such as gender, race and ableism) are co-produced in simultaneity with the production of surplus value (taken from Social Reproduction Theory: Remapping Class, Recentering Oppression). The previous reference provides at the beginning a good perspective of the theory and examples on the contradictory nature of capitalism from the struggle between the creation of surplus value and the reproduction of labor (or social reproduction).
