For the first time ever, researchers at the University of Queensland have found how cannabis can provide a solution to antibiotic-resistant bacteria. A non-psychoactive cannabinoid known as cannabidiol (CBD) has been found to penetrate and kill several highly resistant bacteria, including those responsible for gonorrhea, MRSA, and meningitis. The findings could lead to the creation of the first class of antibiotics for resistant bacteria in 60 years.  >"This is good news for the 100 million people that get infected with the STD annually."
