OUT OF STATE: Mask On, Mask Off by Natasha Stagg “Nothing has been invented yet that imbues us with immunity. We have always known this, and yet, we have a strange way of showing it. No one in the airport bathroom washed their hands for 20 seconds. The only person who didn’t hug anyone else at the funeral was the one whose husband had died from Covid. I’m including myself. There’s only so much we can do. The air is perfect here, in the sun, but numbing in the shade.”
